Fayaz Feraidon - Founder & CEO
Fayaz Feraidon is an Afghan entrepreneur, civil engineer, and tourism leader currently serving as the Deputy of the Afghanistan Tourism Association. He is the Founder and CEO of Afghanistan On Tour, Feraidon Engineering, and Kabul Diamond Tech Company, with expertise spanning technology, engineering, education, and hospitality.
Background & Early Career
Born in Kabul in 2001, Fayaz taught himself computer programming in the ninth grade. By age 16, he was delivering lectures on digital file sharing and modern tech integration for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock. He launched his first technology firm in 2019, established an engineering training center operating from 2020 to 2023, and graduated at the top of his class in Civil Engineering in 2022.
Tourism Leadership & Vision
In late 2021, Fayaz entered the tourism sector as a local guide to gain hands-on experience with international travelers. Building on these insights, he founded Afghanistan On Tour in early 2023 to deliver authentic, professionally managed travel experiences across the country.
His achievements have earned widespread recognition, including a nomination for Young Businessman Under 18 (2019) and winning Afghanistan’s Young Entrepreneur Under 25 Award (2023). Today, Fayaz actively focuses on expanding international tourism, modernizing local industries, and creating opportunities for Afghanistan’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
