Amazing Afghanistan I would like to share our recent amazing experience from traveling in Afghanistan. We are a couple from the Czech Republic, and we had been planning to visit Afghanistan for many years, ever since our trip to the Khyber Pass from the Pakistani side 25 years ago. In recent years, the opportunity to visit the country relatively safely has opened up. Although we had read a lot online and watched many videos on YouTube, we didn’t really know what to expect from the country. That’s why we decided to use the services of a local guide with a driver and a car. The entire trip went exactly as agreed, and we felt very safe there. Of course, except for the road traffic, which is quite wild even by the standards of these countries. The natural scenery, as if from another world, combined with a rich history, is truly unmatched. The people, just like in other “-stan” countries and in Muslim countries in general, are very hospitable and kind. We were under the constant supervision of the Taliban, but this is mainly for security reasons. They are trying to normalize the country’s image to the outside world, and tourists are welcome as long as they follow the rules. Our guide Fayaz (Afghanistan on Tour) made our visit to Afghanistan a truly exceptional experience with his consistently good mood, reliability, sense of responsibility, and extensive knowledge of history. For those who don’t want to deal with arranging permits and other administrative matters on their own, we can highly recommend Fayaz. Our 12-day itinerary included Kabul, the Mahipar Pass, Jalalabad, Bamyan, the Band-e Amir lakes, Kandahar, Herat, a flight to Mazar-e Sharif, and a return to Kabul via the Salang Pass.

12 unforgettable days in Afghanistan with Afghanistan on Tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve just returned from 12 incredible days travelling across Afghanistan (visiting Kabul, Bamyan, Mazar-i-Sharif, Herat and Kandahar) and I can’t recommend Afghanistan on Tour highly enough. From start to finish everything was handled with such care and professionalism. My guide Fayaz went above and beyond throughout the entire journey. He helped with my visa and all the necessary permits before I even arrived and stayed in constant contact to make sure everything went smoothly. On the ground he was not only knowledgeable and organised but also genuinely kind and caring - I always felt well looked after. Despite what the media often suggests, Afghanistan isn’t as dangerous or inaccessible as people might think. Travelling with a reputable local team made all the difference. I felt completely safe and welcome everywhere I went. People were warm, curious and genuinely happy to see visitors returning to their country. The hotels were among the best available in each location; clean, comfortable and with friendly staff. We ate at some great local restaurants and even though I’m a bit of a fussy eater, Fayaz always managed to find the best places and make sure there was something I’d enjoy. His attention to detail and understanding of what would suit me really stood out. Another big plus was the flexibility of the trip. Plans were adjusted naturally based on local conditions and my own personal interests. I wanted a busy schedule to see as much as possible but also time to talk with locals and Fayaz made it all happen - even when it meant early starts at 5.30am without a single complaint! Haha. Afghanistan is a country full of history, beauty and kindness and seeing it with someone as capable and warm as Fayaz made all the difference. I’ll never forget the hospitality I experienced or the people I met along the way. If you’re considering visiting Afghanistan, do it with Afghanistan on Tour - you’ll be in very safe hands!

Best guide in town I had the chance to meet Fayaz before Afghanistan on tour in april 2024 and he was an amazing guide. He is fluent in english, pashto and farsi. He is very knowledgeable of afghan culture and he knows his way around the country (thank you salang pass). I would recommand 100% his services to anyone who wants to travel safely in Afghanistan.
